The Pilsen Region Film Office

Although the Regional Film Office of the Pilsen Region officially started its activities in 2018, our team has been on the film market for decades, during which many valuable partnerships have been established not only with representatives of local institutions, but also with professionals from the film industry. The Office follows the appointed mission to promote the Pilsen Region as an attractive location for film shooting, but we also seek to promote film tourism to tourists and the general public. As part of this activity, we present selected locations and films made there. We support film crews in the areas of production, orientation in local public notices, location selection, media coverage, or negotiations with local authorities and organizations.

The Film Office is focusing not only on the creation of a catalogue of film locations, but at the same time, we are continuously working on expanding the image of the Pilsen Region as a friendly film region. Compared to other regions, the Pilsen Region offers filmmakers many advantages: short distance from Prague, excellent transport accessibility to almost all locations in the region, and high-quality services at very affordable prices. All this, in conjunction with attractive locations, proves the unquestionable value that only the Pilsen Region can offer.
